Theres a problem here that you have overlooked. As
Azam pointed out, NEP is there, in the open for
everyone to see. It has its clear objectives and in a
way, 'legal' for it is a policy adopted by the govt as
a corrective measures lest the malays would still be
rubber tappers, petani etc.
Silent discrimination, now, thats cruel because it is
done with ill intentions, on purpose. Its not by any
means a corrective measures, rather its plain
discrimination. When it happens to you, you are
helpless because you cant really pin point the part
that goes against the law.
Are you saying silent discrimination is okay to get
back at NEP? Is that what you guys have in mind all
this while? You mean you stay here in Malaysia, cari
makan here but whenever opportunity arised, you'd grab
any chance you have to get back at the malays?
By the way, I ask this: have you ever heard of locals
being discriminated in their own homeland as a norm??

I dont know what the malays want. As for me I want the
chinese to show by their act that they are not
opportunists. That they are willing to put human
values a priority instead of making money at all cost.
I want the chinese to show that they can be trusted,
that they wont cheat so much, that they dont make
money their god, that they dont only think about
themselves, they dont grab any chance they have to get
back at the malays, and that they can be fair and
loyal to the country.
until then, dont cry for the bumis to give up our
previlieges. Looking at the way things are now, at
least we still have something to fall back to, before
the chinese turn Malaysia into another Singapore.
