I have a Chinese friend who spoke perfect Malay and was working in a
Bumi company. One day they told her straight in the face that it was a
Malay company and that there was no place for her there. There are
scumbags in all races.
Step into the construction industry and you'll meet plenty of competent
and capable Malay engineers, architects, project managers, you name it -
people who REALLY do their work, perform and produce. You'll also meet a
few Chinese who take long coffee breaks twice a day, leave early for
lunch, spend hours chatting, take naps during office hours, etc.
Quit getting worked-up over Chinese snobs. Some of these guys have no
meaning in life apart from money. Many of them would look down on their
fellow Chinese too.
