Re: The UMNO Elections: The Prime Minister Blinks
This story on the front page of The Sun this morning that Tengku
Razaleigh Hamzah holds a press conference at noon today, and a kenduri
(an UMNO euphemism for distribution of goodies to delegates, a clear
violation), at night is a hoax. The source for that appears to be Dato'
Ibrahim Ali Al-Kataki, who seems to know more of what Tengku Razaleigh
does than the Hermit's own advisers.
If anything, this shows the Prime Minister gets extremely worried at
what the Hermit intends to do. But his action clearly fails. The
Tengku's office tells me he would issue a statement later today on this.

Langgak Golf has been flattened by the Mahathirian steamrollers that
many believe he is now the Chicken of Langgak Golf. But the Prime
