Malaysia, do we care enough?

It must be said that all the lip service by Malaysian leaders about
a caring society is merely sweet nothings. Sweet to hear but nothing
done. Our country, Malaysia, has a very poor record of managing and
providing for the needs of disabled people, as it is. Often, we see
people parking in spots reserved for the disabled, and most buildings
are planned without taking into account the need for the disabled.
Often, there is no specially designed and designated toilets for them.
I was once confined to a wheelchair for a month after a severe track

and confronted by free expression advocates.

Malaysia's market versus the world...

I've been following quite a bit the market trends abroad versus the economy
at home. I'd like to engage in some discussions on this, but first here
are some points to consider...

America
is in a very slow growth model. While
the politicians are careful to avoid words like recession its not far from the
truth. The biggest pain now is the fear
of American consumers pulling back especially with the recent rise in oil
prices. Important to Malaysia is
that large corporate purchases for infrastructure and technology are at a
steady rise.
