This is another one that I need to look up in the fish book to confirm what it was. They munched away on the coral and posed reasonably well for a portrait.

I found these really hard to photograph because of the multitude of bits going this way and that. They can actually rotate the fins on the side of the body to either sit horizontally or vertically like this. Like so many of the colourful things underwater lionfish are poisonous to touch. Again this is another one I need to double check my dive log to confirm which site this was on. There was a couple of pairs of these that lived in an artificial reef structure below the seaventures dive rig but I have a feeling this wasn't shot there.

It was really hard to capture the turtles against a relatively clean blue background with the camera rig I was using. So I was happy with the way this shot captures the ease and grace with which the turtles move about underwater.
